Transversally across countries, hospitals have found in our system a viable solution to their parking problems. From Italy, to the UK, to France and Belgium, hospitals expanding their facilities in areas where land is scarce have no resources to build expensive multi-stories, no extra land to accommodate the cars displaced by the lengthy construction of a conventional parking structure.

Often they have no will and/or no permit to commit large portions of their available land to permanent use as car parks, in a regulatory environment where efforts are concentrated to reduce future use of cars to the advantage of public transport. A “temporary” and displaceable solution is a compromise likely to gather the necessary consensus to be accepted.
